Embracing Life!

|Jumper: Charity shop | Skirt: New Look | Boots & Gold cuffs: ASOS | Bag: Ebay | Faux fur collar: Dorothy Perkins | Necklace: Forever 21|

A lot of things have happened this year and I’ve been embroiled in things that were beyond my control. This resulted in me losing a few friends and relationships that I valued deeply.

What saddens me is that I was never in the wrong but those certain people for reasons I’m not aware chose to believe otherwise.

I’m the sort of person that if someone does me wrong I can move on with my life like they never existed, which is not something I like very much because I’ve always wanted to have a big family and lots of friends surrounding me. Not that I need them for some kind of reassurance or anything from them but it’s just something I’ve always wanted.

I can’t say I don’t miss having those people in my life but such is life...not having them in my life has not stopped me from living. Life bloody well goes on!

I’m moving into 2013 with new found strength and wisdom, a whole new found attitude and love for myself, life, my closest friends and family.

I’m not going to make big New years’ resolutions that aren't realistic but I’ve set myself a few personal goals I want to...and will achieve.

So here’s to bigger and better things in 2013 but above all no regrets!!!

Hope you all have a good New Years! Don't forget to give thanks to God for making it into another year!

Love, Sam

  1. Love the outfit!
I understand exactly what you mean about losing friends - something very similar happened to me a few years ago. Don't worry, everything happens for a reason and eventually God will show you exactly why. Happy New Year, wishing you the best for 2013 hun x
